It’s kind of weird how she is the most inconsistently written character on Glee (which is kind of saying a lot) but is, in my experience, the most consistently written character in Glee fanfiction. Like, despite the show twisting her into whatever shape they need her to be every week, the fans have such a strong idea of who she is as a character (at least part of that must be because Dianna Agron does such a good job with the mess she’s given). And it carries. I mean, obviously there are variations, but almost everybody writes her in this certain way. Like, there are so many ways to write Santana that are still believable, and there are more than a few Rachels, a few different degrees of Brittany, etc, but there really seems to be only one Quinn. 

I guess I just realized that I feel like I know a lot about Quinn, but pretty much none of what I know about her actually comes from the show.
